Intimate Delhi Wedding: Kaveri + Rishi

A modern, intimate luxury wedding in Delhi with sibling-officiated vows, elegant décor, and heartfelt celebrations with friends from around the world.

In a world that is constantly running after validation online and offline, Kaveri and Rishi’s wedding was a breath of fresh air. Nothing was done for show, and everything came together beautifully—whether it was the mehendi at Le Meridien, the understated elegance of the welcome dinner at QLA or the quiet beauty of the wedding at Araya Bagh

A Love Story that Grew Quietly

Kaveri and Rishi’s story began in New York in 2015, where Kaveri had just moved from Cleveland. At first, they were companions in the same group, spending weekend together and sharing conversations in passing. When Rishi returned to New York after a brief stay in India, the two found themselves drawn closer. Books, music and podcasts became common ground. It may not have been love at first sight but the connection deepened slowly.

Now, years later, they live in Los Angeles with their dog, Javi, and days filled with hikes, dinners, and quiet companionship. The wedding in Delhi became a reflection of that life together: thoughtful, down to earth, and touched with understated beauty.

Celebrations Across QLA, Le Meridien and Araya Bagh

When we speak to couples regarding their wedding photography, there is always that one moment where our love for weddings is reinforced. While speaking with Kaveri and Rishi, that moment came when they told us that their siblings would be officiating the rituals. And as Ambika and Sidhant guided Kaveri and Rishi through the wedding vows, we not just witnessed a ceremony, but the beginning of a marriage grounded in meaning and choice.

The three days we spent with Kaveri, Rishi and their families were a celebration that wove together meaningful rituals, elegant spaces, and the rare warmth that comes when two families and a circle of friends from around the world gather simply to share joy. The atmosphere throughout was one of closeness, laughter and genuine connection.

Emotional Highlights

The moments that linger are the most personal. Kaveri’s first look with her family was one such instant, filled with tears and tenderness. The sibling-led pheras carried the same emotion, reminding everyone present that rituals become unforgettable when they are shaped by love.

Style & Details

Kaveri’s bridal looks were chosen with the same care that defined the rest of the wedding: refined, timeless and elegant. Each outfit reflected her preference for understated beauty. Rishi’s style was classic and complementary, allowing the two to appear effortlessly in sync.

The décor carried the same philosophy. Jasmine flowers, muted gold, and clean, elegant lines kept the focus on the couple and the rituals. Luxury was quietly present in every detail.

Kaveri and Rishi’s wedding is a reminder of what modern Indian weddings can be. It was a luxury wedding in Delhi, yes — complete with elegant venues, curated décor, and an unforgettable reception. But at its heart, it was a celebration of love and intimacy. By choosing connection over performance, Kaveri and Rishi created an experience that felt both sophisticated and deeply human.

For couples everywhere, this wedding offers inspiration: proof that Delhi can host weddings that are as meaningful as they are beautiful, as warm as they are luxurious.
